Birmingham City Looking To Snap Up Charlton Athletic Man

Birmingham City manager Lee Bowyer has made it clear that he would love to have Johnnie Jackson join him at the club as his assistant manager, according to a recent report published by London News Online. Bowyer wants Jackson to join him at St. Andrew’s so they could work together in making sure that they help the club witness an upturn in fortunes over the course of their tenure.

Jackson has been appointed as the interim manager on a temporary basis pending when the club will get a permanent candidate who will succeed Bowyer as the hunt continues. Since being appointed as caretaker manager, Jackson has guided his side to just one game so far and he saw his side secure a 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night in their Championship fixture. However, the result is reportedly not going to automatically confirm his long-term appointment at the club.
